One of the major services of GCPC is Training Programme. GCPC has conducted many training programmes in various industrial estates and academic institutions. Main purpose of the Training Programme is to train the industry people as well as engineering students of related field, about the Cleaner Production / Clean Technology with Methodology.

Programme Content:

2-days Training Programme:

First day covers General introduction to CP, need of CP, CP methodology, CP case studies and CP test case.

On Day 2, the participants visit an industry in the morning, particularly for walk-through survey for finding preliminary CP opportunities. In the afternoon, the CP opportunities found by the participants are discussed. A certificate to the candidates who have successfully completed the training is issued.

6-days Training Programme:

Participants are familiarized with various topics such as concept and methodology.A test case is given for practice which prepare them for fiel visit.

On 3rd, 4th and 5th days, Industry visits are arranged. Participants take walk-through inspection and make water, energy and material balances. Documentation of Observations is done.

On 6th day, there is a general discussion of the observations made with the Industry.

Facilities to be Provided:

Atleast 15-20 participants will be desirable from senior and middle level management. Computer and LCD projector will be desirable.
